Aramid fiber yarn

The full name of aramid fiber is aromatic polyamide fiber, which has the following characteristics:

mechanical property

It has high strength, with a specific strength 5-6 times that of steel wires of the same quality, and can withstand significant tensile forces. For example, in the production of ropes, aramid fibers can withstand heavy objects in a slender state.

The modulus is also relatively high, which allows it to deform less under stress and maintain good shape stability.

thermal stability

Aramid fibers have excellent high temperature resistance and can maintain high strength even in high-temperature environments. At temperatures around 200 ℃, it can function normally, and some special aramid fibers can withstand high temperatures above 500 ℃ in a short period of time.

chemical stability

It exhibits good tolerance to most chemicals and can resist the erosion of acids, bases, and other chemicals, making it advantageous in industrial environments with complex chemical conditions.

Flame retardancy

It has natural flame retardant properties, a relatively high ultimate oxygen index, and can automatically extinguish after leaving the flame. It is crucial in situations with high fire prevention requirements, such as the production of firefighting suits.

Electrical performance

Aramid fiber has a low dielectric constant and good insulation properties, making it suitable as a protective material for electronic devices that require high electrical insulation.
